Net gas pay estimates for the Anchois-2 well have been substantially upgraded following further analysis, Duncan Wallace, the technical director of Chariot Limited, told Proactive.
“We’ve ... been using interpretation methods which are correct for the reservoir types that we found and we now estimate approximately 150 metres of net gas pay – so a significant increase versus our early estimates,” Wallace said.
The original estimates were for net gas pay in excess of 50 metres. Wallace said that lab study had confirmed the gas compositions are as anticipated and in line with the Anchois-1 discovery,
