XLMedia PLC (AIM:XLM, OTC:XLMDF) unveiled Marcus Rich, currently the non-executive chair of Digitalbox PLC (AIM:DBOX), as its new chair.
The global digital performance publisher said Rich brings a wealth of experience, having held executive and non-executive roles in the media sector, such as Daily Mail & General Trust and EMAP (East Midland Allied Press, as was).
He also spent six years as chief executive officer of TI Media, where he gained an in-depth knowledge of digital publishing and supervised digital content operations.
Julie Markey, currently the interim non-executive chair of XLMedia, said she believes the company will greatly benefit from his knowledge and expertise.
Rich said he is really looking forward to working with the team “following the period of strategic redirection to maximise the digital opportunities from the existing assets and take advantage of the growth opportunities in the core areas of sports betting in a marketplace that is constantly evolving”.
