Equity Metals expands continuity between two prospective targets on its Silver Queen project in British Columbia

Drilling confirmed the lateral projection of several shallow veins and a deeper intercept approximately 300 metres below surface

Equity Metals Corporation (TSX-V:EQTY, OTCQB:EQMEF) revealed new drill results that expanded on the continuity between two targets on its Silver Queen project in British Columbia.

Highlights from the results include 0.7 metres grading 13.6 grams per ton (g/t) gold, 690 g/t silver, and 5.9% copper.

Another interval returned 0.3 metres grading 3 g/t gold, 426 g/t silver, 3.7% copper, 0.3% lead and 1.2% zinc within a 1.8 metre interval averaging 1.8 g/t gold, 90 g/t silver, 0.6% copper, 0.3% lead and 1.1% zinc.

The drill intercepts are the first three of a 13-hole, 4,382-metre program at Silver Queen that tested both the Camp/Sveinson and NG-3 vein systems.

Equity told investors that drilling confirmed the lateral projection of several shallow veins and a deeper intercept approximately 300 metres below surface. In addition, strong gold and silver values were received from several intercepts, which the company said reflected the character of both the Camp Vein target and the Sveinson target, indicating a possible gradation between the two styles of mineralization.

"We have enjoyed nice news flow of high-grade intercepts from our drilling programs since 2020, and we are now in the process of modeling those intercepts from the Camp Vein in preparation for a maiden resource on that target, which will add to the existing 2019 resource on the No. 3 Vein and will support our initial evaluation that additional deposits exist to be discovered on this target-rich property,” president Joe Kizis told shareholders.

The Camp Vein resource is expected to be completed in mid-2022, Kizis added.

The Silver Queen property consists of 45 mineral claims, 17 crown grants, and two surface crown grants totalling 18,852 hectares. While there have been more than 20 different veins identified on the property, it remains largely underexplored.

Equity owns 100% interest, with no underlying royalty, in Silver Queen.
