Brian Hall, chairman of Great Western Mining, says a new 14Km paved road up to its Mineral Jackpot licence is great news for the business.
Previously it was just mule track access to the mountain-based deposit he said, but vehicles can now go up, which opens up access to 50 spoil heaps.
Hall also thinks Great Western has proved connectivity between five historic mines dotted around the site, which with the road it can now explore properly.
