Empyrean Energy PLC (AIM:EME) has updated investors on the timeline for the hotly anticipated Jade well, offshore China, where operations have been impacted by high winds and seas.
The conditions necessitate the rescheduling of mobilisation for the drill rig whilst meeting strict safety protocols.
In a statement, Empyrean noted that the rig is still safely anchored at its prior well location, pending suitable operable weather conditions.
"We look forward to re-commencing rig mobilisation operations as soon as weather conditions allow for safe working conditions. Based on the current long-range forecast, we do not expect the wait to be very long," said chief executive Tom Kelly.
