The US government has allocated $15 billion to modernize the Department of Veterans Affairs and included in this sum is roughly $5 billion for modernizing federal building infrastructure to lower carbon emissions and reducing operational energy costs. In a statement, DES President Tom Giles, said: “DES is proud to partner with LogosAKF. He added: “Improving the quality of life for US veterans in modernized care facilities, while saving the government a considerable amount in energy costs, is another important goal. It will also enable state and federal organizations to reinvest savings directly intended for veterans.”

LogosAKF’s services streamline building construction and renovation, resulting in 15-to-40% energy savings, said the company.

Dalrada highlighted the following LogosAKF energy-related project success stories which include:

  • A city-wide initiative in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with the goal of creating a Net Zero Energy community by 2050 involved an energy-efficient community complex and school. The project includes energy modeling and 3,600 solar panels for renewable energy design for the building.
