Proactive research analyst Robin Davidson joined Proactive's Katie Pilbeam to discuss his latest research note on Poolbeg Pharma PLC (AIM:POLB).
Davidson said in his note that Poolbeg's deal with the Israeli artificial intelligence (AI)-based biotech CytoReason to conduct a drug discovery programme aimed at identifying potential drug development candidates for the treatment of influenza represents Poolbeg's second foray into AI-based drug discovery.
It follows the company's recent partnership with the US firm, OneThree Biotech, which is aimed at identifying development candidates for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection.
