AFC Energy PLC (AIM:AFC, OTC:AFGYF, ETR:QC8)'s Adam Bond talks to Proactive London about launching the new 10 kilowatt (kW) hydrogen power generator unit the company is calling the ‘Power Tower’.
An off-grid power solution designed to displace fossil-fuelled generators, the Power Tower can achieve full power within 30 seconds from start-up and is already being taken up by Spanish conglomerate Acciona and construction engineer Keltbray for operational deployments in the coming months.
Users of temporary power, such as the construction industry, are coming under increasing pressure to reduce emissions, Bonds says the new product range 'will accelerate decarbonisation efforts' at a time when diesel pricing pressures are rising.
