Cryptocurrencies gained for a third day with many of the leading digital currencies flirting with monthly highs on news of Australia’s first A$ stable coin. The world’s second-largest crypto was at its highest level since 16 February – before Russia began its invasion of Ukraine.
BlackRock Inc (NYSE:BLK) chairman Larry Fink said the world’s largest fund manager was starting to look at digital currencies and assets following the war in Ukraine. In a letter to investors that pointed to the war in Ukraine, he said that the conflict, and sanctions, was accelerating the development of digital currencies.
