Fabled Copper Corp has reported high-grade copper results from surface fieldwork on its Muskwa copper project in British Columbia.
The exploration company said it assayed up to 27.2% copper on a sample of highly mineralized rubble south of the main haulage adit.
Another 2.30 metre (m) section containing 2m of vein and 0.30m of footwall sediments averaged 6.43% copper, while the 2m section of vein alone – without the low-grade footwall sediments – contained a copper average of 7.38%, the company said.
The Muskwa project is comprised of the Neil and Toro properties in the northern part of the province.

“A total of 19 specific areas were mapped and prospected during the 2021 field season and we have previously reported our findings on the Lady Luck occurrence in the south end of the Neil Property,” Fabled CEO Peter Hawley said in a statement, “followed by the Mac; the 8A, Harris, the 2a and 2b, the Creek, Keays south, Belcher Creek, the Magnum Drone Survey Mission and now the Magnum Mine copper deposit.”
Mineralization at the Magnum deposit consists of varying proportions of ankerite, quartz, chalcopyrite, and pyrite, in partly replaced remnants of the sedimentary host rock, the company told investors.
Ten veins have been identified to date, varying in width from less than 3 feet (0.9m) up to 25 feet (7.6m), showing continuity on strike and at depth, Fabled added. The main developed veins are “nearly vertical.”
Field crews will continue to sample and map the Magnum deposit, and traverse the southeast side of the hillside to investigate the silica anomalies.
Fabled is awaiting receipt of drill permits to enable it to commence a new campaign at the property.
