Flybe Ltd is to return to the skies next month with 530 flights a week, some two years after the UK regional airline fell into administration.
The company will operate across 23 routes, serving airports including Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Heathrow, Leeds Bradford and Belfast City, the Mail Online reported. Flights will resume on April 13.
Flybe collapsed into administration in March 2020, with the loss of thousands of jobs. It was bought last April by Thyme Opco, which is linked to US investment firm Cyrus Capital, according to reports.
Shares of Ryanair Holdings PLC (LSE:RYA) advanced 0.9%. International Consolidated Airlines Group (LSE:IAG) SA, the owner of British Airways was 1.6% lower.
