ReNeuron Group PLC (AIM:RENE) said Dr Tim Corn and Mark Evans resigned as non-executive directors of the stem cell and exosomes technology business.
Meanwhile, Martin Walton joins as a non-executive director, a statement said.
All three changes take place with immediate effect.
Walton previously worked as an investment banker and has completed more than 25 transactions in the last 12 years as a principal or advisor, according to the statement.
He has been involved in “start-up and spin-out investments, pre-IPO and IPO funding; mergers and acquisitions and over US$1bn in investment and co-investment capital,” executive chairman Iain Ross said.
Walton is also the co-founder of London listed Arix Bioscience PLC (LSE:ARIX) and is currently serving as chief executive officer at Excalibur Medicines Ltd, as well as a board member of the Liverpool Life Sciences Accelerator Partnership.
“I would like to welcome Martin Walton to the ReNeuron board as we look to re-focus the business,” Ross adds.
“He brings a wealth of relevant experience in the life sciences sector.”
The board of the London listed company now comprises of five directors which include Ross and chief financial officer and executive director Catherine Isted.
The non-executive directors are made up of Dr Michael Owen, Barbara Staehelin and Walton.
