Orthocell Ltd (ASX:OCC)’s Paul Anderson discusses Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approval for the company’s Remplir™ nerve regeneration technology to be added to the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods with Proactive’s Andrew Scott.
Remplir™ marks the first Australian made, designed, and manufactured collagen membrane for nerve repair to be approved and has demonstrated an impressive success rate of 82.6% (19 of 23 patients) when used to support surgical nerve repair in peripheral nerves.
The company describes it as a ‘first-in-kind’ biological scaffold that accelerates and supports healing of the nerve connections.
