Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) has announced the completion of the on-site portion of the environmental survey for the EP-145 area in the Amadeus Basin in Australia’s Northern Territory.
The survey was completed on schedule and initial results have been received, the company said, noting that it awaits receipt of the final report and submission to the Northern Territory government.
It is one of the pre-requisites for a seismic acquisition programme, along with approval from organisations representing native title parties.
"Mosman is pleased to achieve the next step in the approval process at EP-145 and is following up on the outstanding final reports with vigour,” said chairman John Barr.
"The Amadeus Basin is considered an important asset with considerable exploration upside which needs ongoing work to prove the concepts and resources."
