BATM Advanced Communications Ltd (LSE:BVC, OTC:BTAVF) announced a strategic partnership for its Edgility virtual networking and edge compute solution with NEXCOM International Co Ltd.
Under the agreement, Edgility will be pre-installed on NEXCOM's 5G network appliance, BATM said in a statement. Purchasers of the NEXCOM appliance will contract directly with BATM if they choose to use Edgility.
NEXCOM, which is headquartered in Taiwan, has operations in China, Japan, US, UK and Italy.

"We are delighted to have formed another partnership for our Edgility solution, which is now available pre-installed on NEXCOM's 5G network appliance for small and medium-sized enterprises,” commented BATM CEo Dr Zvi Marom.
“As these businesses move their IT functions to the network edge as part of their digital transformation initiatives, they need an agile, cost-efficient solution to simplify the deployment and management of edge devices while reducing operational costs, which is what we are providing through this partnership with NEXCOM.

House broker Shore Capital added; " This further collaborative partnership with an equipment specialist is a positive affirmation, in our view, of BATM’s strategic route to market with Edgility, designed to open up access to a very large global market.
"BATM confirms its view of increased momentum for Edgility with this announcement."
Shares rose 2.5% to 52p.
