KGL Resources Ltd (ASX:KGL) has strengthened its board with the appointment of Denis Wood, who will re-join the board as a non-executive director.
Wood is well known to the company's shareholders and has extensive knowledge of the Jervois Copper Project project in the Northern Territory.
He was instrumental in advancing the project prior to his resignation last year for health reasons.
Just recently, KGL bolstered its copper resources at the high-grade Rockface deposit at Jervois with additional silver and gold ounces to boot.
There has been a 7% increase in resource tonnes to 3.53 million tonnes while the indicated and inferred mineral resource estimate delivers a 4% lift in contained copper metal to 108,300 tonnes.

KGL chairman Peter Hay said that KGL was pleased to have Denis re-joining the board. “Having overcome his health issues, we welcome Denis’ return to the board and his deep knowledge of the project will be extremely beneficial as we advance the development of Jervois.”
On accepting the position Wood commented: “I look forward to re-joining KGL which, as everyone knows, is very close to my heart. I am encouraged by the progress since I left, and I continue to be excited about the Jervois Project. I am very happy to return in this role to support the management team, who are committed to bringing Jervois into production.”
Wood will recommence with the company on March 18, 2022.
