Aldoro Resources Ltd (ASX:ARN) has confirmed the VC1 anomaly of the Narndee Nickel-Copper-Platinum Group Element Project in Western Australia is prospective for nickel and copper after striking mineralisation in two diamond drill holes.
Wet chemistry intercept assays have been returned for the two holes - NDD0009 and NDD0019) - with results as follows:
➢ 0.55 metres at 0.87% nickel, 0.14% copper and 0.06% cobalt from 109.45 metres; and
➢ 1.5 metres at 0.76% nickel, 0.29% copper and 0.06% cobalt from 150.05 metres
VTEM and HPFLTEM update
Aldoro has also completed a versatile time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey over the Kiabye Greenstone Belt (KGB) along the western margin of the Narndee Igneous Complex (NIC), and a large loop, high power fixed loop electromagnetic (HPFLTEM) survey is ongoing over the VC1, VC3, and VC11 target areas.
The KGB has been interpreted to be a possible feeder or basal unit for the NIC, representing a high-priority exploration target for nickel-copper sulphide deposits.
The HPFLTEM survey is designed to detect large, highly conductive, and possibly deeper metallic bodies that would have been difficult for the VTEM system to detect.
The results of both surveys will be reported in detail once final data sets are received and quality checked.
Following delivery of the VTEM survey and HPFLEM results, any conductors generated will be ground-truthed, mapped, and sampled by surface geochemistry. Aldoro will then follow up with target ranking, further surface EM work, and drilling.
