Pathfinder reports 42% rise in reservations at its Pathfinder Camp Resorts

"We are thrilled to see the increase in interest and reservations at our Pathfinder Camp Resorts. It is a testament to the Pathfinder Camp Resort brand to experience both return customers and to attract new customers at the same time," said

Pathfinder Ventures (TSX-V:RV) Inc announced that as of March 1, 2022, it had received advanced deposits for 16,961 overnight stays for future business at its Pathfinder Camp Resorts, an increase of 42% on the same period in 2021.

The operator of recreational vehicle (RV) parks and campgrounds, which opened its Agassiz-Harrison and Parksville locations in mid-May and mid-July last year, attributed the growth in reservations to both returning customers and a new base of RV customers.

"We are thrilled to see the increase in interest and reservations at our Pathfinder Camp Resorts. It is a testament to the Pathfinder Camp Resort brand to experience both return customers and to attract new customers at the same time," said Joe Bleackley, founder and CEO of Pathfinder Ventures in a statement.

The company noted that it had accounted for the downtime due to renovations when calculating the booking increases for 2022.

"Guests who enjoyed their experience with Pathfinder are rebooking with us for the upcoming camping season. We are excited to offer a more interactive experience for our guests in 2022 with the easing of COVID restrictions and an increase in programs and activities," said Stan Duckworth, COO of Pathfinder Ventures.

Pathfinder Ventures is developing a network of branded, upscale and family-friendly RV parks and campgrounds under the Pathfinder Camp Resorts name. It currently has three camp resorts located in British Columbia and is focused on growing its network through both acquisitions and new construction.

The company is also seeking to acquire RV & Self Storage facilities, taking advantage of the rapidly growing market of people who want to experience the great outdoors in an RV.
