Technology Minerals says sampling survey confirms high grades at Aramo copper-cobalt-nickel project

The Aramo mine was in production from 1948 until 1953

Technology Minerals PLC, a battery metals recycling and exploration company, said initial results from a sampling survey at the historic Aramo mine within the St Patrick licence has confirmed high-grade copper-cobalt-nickel mineralisation.

The lithogeochemical characterisation sampling survey was carried out at its Aramo (Asturmet) project in Northern Spain, where 79 samples were collected, including 53 samples underground at the Aramo mine.

“In the coming months we plan to expand our exploration campaign which will help us continue to gain a better understanding of the full potential of the project,” said chief executive Alex Stanbury.

“The Asturmet project forms part of our wider strategy to move forward and advance multiple exploration campaigns across our portfolio of mineral resource projects focused on cobalt, copper, nickel, manganese, and lithium."

The Aramo mine was most recently in production from 1948 until 1953 when it was shut due to weak copper prices.
