Race Oncology Ltd (ASX:RAC)'s Daniel Tillett speaks to the final results out of a pre-clinical study on kidney cancer cells. Promisingly, the research program shows that Race's Zantrene treatment was capable of killing cancerous cells at clinically relevant concentrations on its own, as well as in combination with known kidney cancer drugs like lenvatinib, cabozantinib and pazopanib. Next up, Race hopes to advance Zantrene to phase one and two human clinical trials — possibly as soon as the end of this year.
