Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX:GMR)’s Craig Mackay outlines the Kada Gold Project’s ‘low-cost mining proposition’, born from a combination of soft oxide host material and broad zones of mineralised gold at the project which may allow for much cheaper bulk excavation.
Metallurgic test results from the project have also underlined the possibility for cheap, easy processing with estimated cyanide leach recoveries for oxide ores reaching 95% to 97%.
Altogether Kada hosts 670,000 tonnes of this shallow oxide-transitional gold, offering a potentially very low capital expenditure project.
