SourceBio International PLC (AIM:SBI) said it’s sending a shipment of laboratory and medical consumables, laboratory equipment, and ancillary supplies to Ukraine to aid the country whilst it’s being invaded by Russia.
The provider of integrated laboratory services and products will also donate £100,000 of cash to ensure trauma kits are delivered to Ukraine, the company said.
“Myself and the rest of the SourceBio board feel very deeply that we must offer some direct support,” said Christopher Mills, director and shareholder of Harwood Capital Management Group, which owns SourceBio.
“I would encourage all companies, public or private, whatever their size, to provide similar tangible support to Ukraine.
“Russia has created an appalling situation that cannot be ignored and we all must stand up and support the people of Ukraine,” Mills added.
