Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) continues to expand its zinc-lead footprint at two of the key prospects with the world-class Earaheedy Project in Western Australia.
Reverse circulation (RC) drilling along a major zinc-lead silver trend at the project has upped the mineralised footprint at the Tonka and Navajoh prospects to 8 kilometres long and up to 1.4 kilometres wide.
In addition, drilling has confirmed strong zinc-lead grade continuity across Tonka and Navajoh, fielding as much as 8.31% zinc and lead as well as 5.38 g/t silver.
Next up, Rumble intends to take its magnifying glass to the soil, with infill drilling planned to follow up between the 500-metre drill sections.
The explorer will also drill test the asset’s recently interpreted northeast-trending feeder structures in a bid to delineate new higher-grade zinc-lead zones.
The results are in
Rumble has received assays for another 46 drill holes, covering 7,450 metres, at the Tonka and Navajoh prospects.
The latest results have inspired the explorer to merge the Tonka and Magazine prospects into one entity, which takes after the former target.
Best results from Tonka include:
- 20 metres at 4.27% zinc and lead and 3.71 g/t silver from 112 metres, including 8 metres at 6.75% zinc and lead and 5.2 g/t silver from 117 metres;
- 12 metres at 4.41% zinc and lead and 0.91 g/t silver from 67 metres, including 6 metres at 5.54% zinc and lead and 1.13 g/t silver from 72 metres; and
- 19 metres at 1.88% zinc and lead and 2.37 g/t silver from 143, metres including 5 metres at 5.09% zinc and lead and 5.12 g/t silver from 143 metres.
The mineralised footprint (grading more than 0.5% zinc and lead) at Tonka has grown to a strike of 4.3 kilometres and runs up to 1.2 kilometres wide.
It remains open northwest and southeast along strike, as well as down-dip to the northeast.
Meanwhile, assays from the Navajoh camp returned:
- 17 metres at 4.79% zinc and lead and 4.25 g/t silver from 170 metres, including 4 metres at 8.31% zinc and lead and 5.38 g/t silver from 170 metres and 7 metres at 5.62% zinc and lead and 5.3 g/t silver from 179 metres;
- 12 metres at 4.48% zinc and lead and 5.26 g/t silver from 152 metres, including 6 metres at 6.51% zinc and lead and 7.1 g/t silver from 152 metres;
- 23 metres at 2.45% zinc and lead and 1.18 g/t silver from 176 metres to end of hole, including 3 metres at 7.52% zinc and lead and 1.89 g/t silver from 181 metres; and
- 12 metres at 3.47% zinc and lead and 2.37 g/t silver from 188 metres, including 3 metres at 4.6% zinc and lead and 3.03 g/t silver from 190 metres.
Down the line, Rumble believes that Tonka and Navajoh could merge into one very large prospect with further scoping drilling.
What’s to come?
While Rumble gears up for more work in 2022, it’s tying up the final round of exploration results from last year.
To date, 15% of the assays from its 50,000-metre drill program in 2021 remain pending.
This year, Rumble plans to execute a series of exploration campaigns across its multi-commodity portfolio.
This includes RC, infill extensional and diamond core drilling at Earaheedy’s Chinook target, scoping drill works at the Tonka-Magazine-Navajoh prospects and heritage and geochemical surveys over the Sweetwater tenements.

Rumble’s work at Earaheedy centres on a major zinc-lead exploration target, comprising between 100 million to 120 million tonnes of resource at a grade ranging between 3.5% to 4.5% zinc-lead sulphide.
The exploration target is shallow and runs over 40 kilometres of prospective strike that remains completely open.
While conceptual in nature, Rumble believes the exploration target is shaping Earaheedy into an emerging, world-class base metal system.
Since the Chinook discovery in April 2021, a scoping drilling campaign has continued to make new findings and unearth multiple, large-scale targets for future exploration.
