Gensource Potash CEO Mike Ferguson tells Proactive the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based fertilizer development company that Canadian potash suppliers have become 'critical' to replace Russian supply, who together with Belarus, a country that is already facing US sanctions, controls 40% of the world's supply. Ferguson says he does not believe there is sufficient capacity to make up for all sanctions imposed on the fertilizer, which may lead to a tight potash supply and sustained higher prices. Gensource is currently advancing development of its potash-focused Tugaske Project in Canada.
