The Canadian mineral exploration company focused on gold exploration projects in the prospective La Ronge Gold Belt, said a total of 4,123.5 meters (m) were completed over 34 diamond drill holes (DDH). Samples are currently being processed and delivered to SRC Lab in Saskatchewan’s Saskatoon city. The drill program was successful in completing 24 infill drill holes, four twin drill holes, and six exploration drill holes. A total of 3,759 samples were sent for assay with 3,256 being core samples and 503 additional samples reserved for Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC).

In a statement, the company said the aggregate from 64 meters (m) to 1,265.15m contains copper equivalent grade of 0.50%, including 0.43% copper, and 198 parts per million (ppm) molybdenum (with 24m of lost core not reported). The company said the average grades include newly reported 0.47% copper equivalent including 0.38% copper and 260 ppm molybdenum from 820m to 1,265.15m down the hole. Assay grades for silver for the complete interval reported are still pending.

Benchmark Metals Inc has said it expects to complete an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) and preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for its flagship Lawyers gold-silver project in British Columbia’s Golden Horseshoe area in the first half of 2022. Updating investors on the ongoing technical and engineering work, Benchmark said completion of the MRE will provide a new mine plan into the PEA. P&E Mining Consultants have commenced modeling work for the updated MRE and the majority of engineering for the PEA is completed, the company added. "In the coming months the company will deliver a mineral resource estimate with drilling focused on significant infill drilling, resource expansion and adding near-surface gold-silver ounces,” the company’s vice president for engineering Ian Harris said in a statement.
Scottie Resources Corp has announced additional assays from the Blueberry Contact zone in its Scottie Gold Mine project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle region, which included intercepts of 34.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 11.9 metres (m) and 4.4 g/t gold over 10.3m. The company said the drill results extend the strike length of the mineralizing structure to more than 720m and 225m depth, which remains open in all directions. "With the system remaining open in all directions and at depth, our 2022 program will be focused on significantly increasing the size of the zone by testing aggressive step outs along the structure,” Scottie Resources CEO Brad Rourke said in a statement.

Maverix Metals Inc (TSX:MMX) said it has acquired a package of three royalties on gold projects in Nevada from an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of Waterton Precious Metals Fund II Cayman LP for a $5 million cash payment. "This royalty package fits Maverix's strategy perfectly,” said Maverix CEO Dan O'Flaherty in a statement. “The properties have excellent exploration and development potential for gold in a great jurisdiction while, uniquely, providing immediate cash flow via advance royalty payments while the projects continue to be advanced." The company said the three assets are Lewis, which is at resource stage, as well as Dixie Creek and Railroad, both of which are at exploration stage.
Kodiak Copper Corp told investors that results from five additional holes drilled in 2021 at the Gate Zone at its 100%-owned MPD copper-gold porphyry project in southern British Columbia have continued to intersect significant copper-gold grades over substantial intervals. The company said the new results have now extended the higher-grade central zone at Gate further to the east and at depth. The Gate Zone porphyry target remains open to extension in multiple directions, it added. GreenBank Capital Inc (CSE:GBC) has revealed that its 19%-owned portfolio company Staminier Limited has further enhanced its bid to purchase 13 acres of land near London’s Gatwick Airport by increasing the option period to the end of February 2023. Greenbank noted that Staminier has applied to have the plot reallocated as "strategic employment land" as part of its strategy to significantly increase the land value. If the land is reallocated, it said comparable land sales indicate that the value of the optioned land would be in the region of £19.5 million (C$34 million), with potential to be significantly higher if and when formal planning/zoning consent is obtained. Among the key findings was the identification of a large copper zone with good potential for future development, along with gold values of up to 1.5 grams per ton (g/t), across several holes, which indicate a 'gold-rich corridor' correlating with surface rock chip samples. "The zones of widespread copper oxide and sulfide enrichment combined with the newly discovered, underlying porphyry-altered granodiorite intrusive strongly outline the potential for Majuba Hill to be a billion ton copper, silver, gold porphyry deposit," the junior resource group said.

Amarillo Gold Corp said it has obtained a final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia approving the previously announced plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) for the acquisition of Amarillo by Hochschild Mining PLC (LSE:HOC, OTCQX:HCHDF). Under the arrangement, each share of Amarillo will be exchanged for cash consideration of 40 cents and one share of Lavras Gold Corp. (Lavras SpinCo), a new Brazil-focused exploration company. The arrangement remains subject to the approval of Hochschild shareholders, the approval of Lavras SpinCo by the Toronto Venture Exchange, and the satisfaction of other customary conditions. Hochschild is expected to host its shareholder meeting on March 22, 2022, and closing of the arrangement is expected to occur around the end of March or early April, 2022. Following completion of the arrangement, Amarillo's shares are expected to be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange and OTCQB.
