Lion Copper and Gold Corp (TSX-V:LEO, OTCQB:LCGMF) said it has appointed Steven Dischler, who has over 40 years of experience in the environmental, reclamation and natural resources sectors, as vice president, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) of the company.
The company noted that Dischler's experience includes over 13 years working on legacy and new mining projects in the historic Yerington Copper District. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Mining Engineering, and has an extensive track record of working with local communities and stakeholders, including Native American Tribes, governmental agencies and NGOs in the region.
"I welcome Mr Dischler to lead our ESG efforts for the company. We accept our company's role in a circular economy as we look to do our part to positively reshape the natural resource industry,” said Travis Naugle, Lion Copper and Gold's CEO in a statement.

Lion Copper and Gold is a Canada-based company advancing its flagship MacArthur copper project in Mason Valley, Nevada. It is also exploring the Chaco Bear and Ashton properties in British Columbia.
