Bango to release NFT of annual report cover

The NFTs will be priced anywhere between 0.1 and 1.0 ETH

Bango PLC (AIM:BGO, OTCQX:BGOPF) announced today that the front cover artwork created for its 2021 annual report will be available as a range of “ultra-limited” non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The data-driven commerce company said collectors and investors will be able to own a unique version of the artwork, which will be recorded and registered as theirs alone.

The NFTs are available on the OpenSea marketplace and will be priced anywhere between 0.1 ETH and 1.0 ETH, according to the company.

The London-listed company added that the image on the report, which was released today, is “inspired by the increasing turbulence in the world of digital marketing.”

"This is the first time, to the best of my knowledge, that a company has incorporated imagery that is both informative and collectible into the way it reports its business," said executive chair Ray Anderson.

"Bango technology has quickly found favor with companies enabling NFTs to be traded, who want to find new users and collectors, and to simplify payments for their customers,” Anderson added.

It said that proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Disaster Emergency Committee, which is co-ordinating the provision of relief to the refugee crises in Ukraine.
