H&T Group PLC (AIM:HAT) has announced its preliminary results for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021.
Chris Gillespie, H&T chief executive, says 'it is very pleasing to report strong growth in borrowing demand in the second half of 2021 with no detriment to loan-to-value ratios, record levels of lending in December and an increase in the flow of pawnbroking customers who are new to H&T. This momentum has continued into 2022'.
He says that their in store demand for their high-quality new and pre-owned jewellery and watches has returned strongly and consistently since the relaxation of trading restrictions from late April, and overall retail sales in the second half of the year were at record levels.
