Wizz Air Holdings PlLC has stopped flights from all destinations in Russia and Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict.
Flights originating from its Kyiv, Lviv and Saint-Petersburg bases are off sale, said the central Europe-based airline.
Flights into and out of Modolva have meanwhile have been shifted to Romania.
As a result, Wizz Air’s growth projections have been thrown off course with first-quarter capacity now forecast to be 30% ahead of 2019, down from a previous forecast 52%, rising to 40% in the second quarter.
All Ukraine staff will be offered new employment, Wizz Air added, while the group said it had also capped its fuel costs for the next four months.
Wizz Air had been operating as many as 45 routes out of Ukraine and claimed a 27% market share at the end of 2021.
The airline has offered free flights for up to 100,000 Ukrainians fleeing the conflict from countries bordering Ukraine.
Shares fell 0.4% to 121.5p.
