MAS Gold Corp told investors that Comstock Metals Ltd has received shareholder approval for the proposed sale of its Preview SW property to MAS. In January, Vancouver-based MAS signed a definitive agreement with Comstock to acquire 100% of its interest in the Preview SW gold project and property in return for 30 million common MAS Gold shares. The 843-hectare Preview SW property is contiguous with MAS’s Preview North property in the La Ronge Gold Belt of northeastern Saskatchewan, both of which are located within the Mineral Exploration Zone of Lac La Ronge Provincial Park.
Perma-Fix Environmental Services Inc announced that it has signed a term sheet with Westinghouse Electric Company, at the 2022 Waste Management Symposia, to develop a state-of-the-art advanced materials treatment facility in the UK. The company said the new facility, to be built at Westinghouse’s Springfields site, will incorporate the Perma-Fix Bulk Processing Unit (BPU), a vessel designed to treat a wide range of radioactive materials for the European nuclear market.
RespireRx Pharmaceuticals Inc interim CEO Arnold S Lippa has updated shareholders about the company’s progress in 2021, it's internal restructuring, and described how it plans to move forward in the current year. In a letter to shareholders, Lippa noted that the company has implemented an internal restructuring plan through which its two-drug platforms have been reorganized into separate business units and may in the future be organized into private subsidiaries of RespireRx. Possibly most visibly, Lippa said, the company has implemented an internal restructuring plan with the hope of unlocking what it believes is unrealized value, based upon its two research platforms - pharmaceutical cannabinoids and neuromodulators.

Drilling at the PYC target three broad zones of nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization totaling 62.21 metres (m) of composite thickness, including 7.41m grading 0.23% nickel equivalent (NiEq), including 1.8m at 0.52% NiEq. Another hole intersected five broad zones of the same mineralization totaling 69.9m of composite thickness, including 39.5m grading 0.24% NiEq, including 7.6m at 0.37% NiEq and 1.26% NiEq over 0.58m.
Electra Battery Materials Corporation has announced final approval of the updated Closure Plan for its Canadian hydrometallurgical facility. The company said the Closure Plan for the refinery expansion and recommissioning was approved on March 4, 2022, and is an important milestone that keeps the project on track for commissioning in December 2022. Electra said it has been working within the existing refinery footprint to recommission electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment. “This approval enables Electra to accelerate new construction and industrial activities at site,” the company said in a statement.
Globex Mining Enterprises Inc noted that Cartier Resources Inc has signed a letter of interest (LOI) to acquire the East Cadillac property in Vauquelin Township, Quebec, east of Val-d'Or from O3 Mining. The East Cadillac property covers some 29,754 hectares when including Cartier's original Chimo Mine property with a reported Indicated Resource of 684,000-ounce (oz) gold (Au) and 1,358,000 oz Au in the Inferred Resource category. Within the large East Cadillac property, there are 54 claims totaling 1,454 hectares on which Globex holds a 3% Gross Metal Royalty consisting of the Nordeau East and West properties, as well as the Bateman claims. In addition, the property has numerous areas of gold mineralization intersected in drilling. Globex said it is “pleased” with Cartier's move to consolidate the gold potential of the area and looks forward to Cartier's further advancement of exploration on Globex's gold royalty asset.
BioPorto A/S has said it is planning a rights issue to raise up to around DKK 100.4 million (US$14.7 million) to strengthen its coffers and for a clinical trial and application to the US regulator to approve its NGAL test for acute kidney injury (AKI) in children under 22. i-80 Gold Corp revealed that the company has kicked off its underground, advanced-exploration program at its 100%-owned McCoy-Cove property in Nevada, achieving another goal as part of its 2022 comprehensive plan. In addition, industry veteran Jon Laird has joined the company as the manager of the Cove Mine project and will oversee the development program. McCoy-Cove is one of four projects currently being advanced and is expected to be a key component in the company's plans to restart the Lone Tree autoclave. Construction of the decline is now underway, and the Phase 1 program will include construction of an initial level with multiple drill bays to provide access for upgrading resources, said the company.

Altaley Mining Corporation (TSX-V:ATLY) has unveiled the positive results of an updated pre-feasibility study (PFS) for its Tahuehueto gold and base metal mine in Mexico, where initial pre-production is poised to begin in March this year. Construction of the project is now over 95% complete, with just US$6 million left to invest, of a total capital cost of US$56.9 million, to kick off output at throughput of 1,000 tonnes per day (tpd). That leads to a pre-tax net present value (NPV) for the 10.9 year life-of-mine (LOM) asset of US$152.8 million. "The disclosure of the 2022 PFS economics, updated reserve and resource estimation, along with our anticipated March startup of pre-production operations at Tahuehueto, are the culmination of many years of hard work by the Altaley team and as our Tahuehueto mine ramps up to full production during Q2-Q3 2022, increased cash flow will allow Altaley to recommence exploration drilling and unlock the ultimate potential of our Tahuehueto district scale project," said Ralph Shearing, Altaley Mining CEO in a statement.

Metal Energy Corp revealed that a 3,000-metre (m) drill program has started on its flagship high-grade nickel Manibridge project in Manitoba’s Thompson Nickel Belt, in Canada. The well-funded Toronto-based nickel and battery metal exploration company said drilling will focus within the shadow of the past-producing mine that produced 1.3 million tonnes at 2.55% nickel (Ni)and 0.27% copper (Cu) from 1971 to 1977. Further, while Pelican Food Concepts has agreed to be an initial test, reference and market validation account for ElectraMeccanica (NASDAQ:SOLO), provided that the SOLO Cargo EV vehicles meet its pizza delivery specifications for cost and performance in initial trials, an actual order for 20 vehicles has not yet been formally contracted between the parties. The parties believe, however, that an order for 20 vehicles (or a comparably sized order), will be placed once final engineering and production of the vehicles occur, which is expected early in the third quarter of this year.

Potent Ventures Inc said it has completed a first closing of a non-brokered private placement of up to $2,000,000. The company accepted subscriptions for 13,000,000 units at a price of C$0.025 per unit, raising gross proceeds of C$325,000. Each unit consists of one common share and one share purchase warrant entitling the holder to purchase an additional common share for C$0.05 for a period of 2 years from the issue date. All of the securities issuable in connection with the offering will be subject to a hold period expiring four months and one day after date of issuance. In connection with the closing of the private placement, the company paid finder's fees of $11,800 in cash and issued 472,000 finder's warrants. The finder's warrants hold the same terms of the warrants issued as part of the units. A second tranche closing is expected to take place on or before March 25, 2022. The proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes.
