Bidstack Group PLC (AIM:BIDS, OTC:FTBGF) has formed a partnership where its technology will be integrated into the popular mobile game Goodville to allow adverts to be served onto banners and billboards around the game's virtual world.
Developed in collaboration with neurophysiologists and psychiatrists, Goodville is a farm adventure game on Apple and Android devices that blends farm simulation with an emotional wellbeing app designed to improve wellness amongst gamers.
By integrating Bidstack's software development kit (SDK), Goodville’s developer, Stork Limited, is creating a new, sustainable revenue stream that complements its existing monetisation strategies and respects the experience of its audience, the AIM-listed company said.
Mikhail Mironchik, the marketing manager for Goodville, said the sort of native in-game ads that Bidstack enables had hitherto been more likely to be seen in AAA games on PC or console in games, “and for us this has been a process of discovery in previously uncharted territory” and Stork hoped the partnership “can widen the boundaries of a ‘classic’ mobile advertising approach”.
He said Bidstack offered “a perfect fit in terms of our audience and the range of advertisers”.
Bidstack's head of supply, Antoine Jullemier, said the new partnership “further reinforces our value proposition and product market fit in an attractive market”.
