Australian Potash Ltd (ASX:APC)'s Matt Shackleton gives the business case for the company's Lake Wells sulphate of potash (SOP) camp in Western Australia. The 100% borefield project is poised to make APC a major SOP producer in WA, joining a chorus of homegrown assets that seek to challenge China’s dominance in the burgeoning potash market. Once in operation, Lake Wells will represent a long-life production opportunity, poised to span more than 30 years and provide 80 jobs in steady-state operation.
