Anteris Technologies Ltd (ASX:AVR, OTC:AMEUF) is welcoming a new addition to its global Medical Advisory Board – Australian interventional cardiologist Dr Karl Poon.
Brisbane-based Dr Poon has expertise in structural heart disease interventions and is among Australia's most prolific implanters of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) devices.

Dr Poon’s participation in the board is a welcome addition to the company as it continues building clinical validation for its novel DurAVR™ 3D single-piece transcatheter aortic heart valve.
Dr Poon will receive hands-on experience in DurAVR™ implantation at the next cohort of aortic stenosis patients treated at Anteris’ first-in-human study at the Tbilisi Heart and Vascular Clinic, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
