Vistra Group PLC reported a significant rise in profit and revenue, as the housebuilder recorded an increase in average sales at the beginning of this year.
In 2021, profit before tax increased to £319.5mln from £98.7mln in 2020, with increased home sales being attributed to the increase.
The group's revenue grew 30% to £2.36bn.
Dividend of 40p a share was proposed by the board, bringing the total dividend to 60p a share for the year.
The annual results showed a 229% increase in earnings per share to 114.6p.
In the medium term, the company sees a clear path to deliver £1.6bn revenues and a 12% operating margin, and expects to deliver at least £1bn revenues, a 10% operating margin, and a 40% return on capital employed by 2022.
Private sales rate increased by 43% to 0.76, and housebuilding increased total completions to 6,551 from 4,652 the previous year.
"Housebuilding and Partnerships both made excellent progress throughout the year, with strong demand across all areas of the business. This was consistent throughout the year and across the country," said chief executive Greg Fitzgerald.
"Notwithstanding the shocking events in Europe and the attendant political uncertainties, 2022 has got off to an incredibly positive start and the group is in great shape to deliver on its strategy of maximising the strengths and opportunities from the valuable combination of our housebuilding and partnerships businesses, and on achieving sector-leading returns in the medium term," he added.
