Bango’s shares begin trading on the OTCQX

The listing in America does not impact its listing in London

Bango PLC (AIM:BGO) said it began trading on the OTC markets group’s OTCQX best market in the United States today.

The company, which provides platforms for data-driven commerce, said its shares will continue to trade on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.

A statement said that trading on the OTCQX will “further increase the visibility and accessibility of Bango to North American investors.”

It said last December that it would be changing its presentational currency to US Dollars to better reflect the growing proportion of business that was being conducted in America, which should increase the appeal of its shares to global investors.

The company said that the OTCQX will support more transparent quotation and trading of Bango’s shares in US Dollars during trading hours in the United States, which should allow for easier access for investors who prefer securities that trade domestically in US Dollars.

“Cross-trading on OTCQX is expected to widen Bango's investor base and has the potential to increase liquidity in Bango's shares on AIM,” the statement added.

“The success of our payments business - particularly the recurring revenues generated by our platform product - as well as in our unique purchase behaviour targeting technology, positions Bango strongly for continuing growth across our markets,” said chief executive Paul Larbey.

The statement stressed that the decision to trade in America was not a capital raise, and that no new ordinary shares were issued.
