Alpha Growth Plc "making great progress" as it advances growth strategy

"We have been progressing the 2B strategy internally over the last 12 months and are making great progress against our objective of managing over US$2bn of AUM by 2025 in both the fund and insurance segments of the business.”

Alpha Growth PLC (LSE:ALGW, OTCQB:ALPGF) is pencilling in a ‘very exciting’ phase as its reveals 2B Growth Strategy, after 2021 which was described as a transformation year for the investment company.

The plan is to expand funds under management (AUM) by executing its build and buy strategy, as well as launching new, complementary and innovative strategies to its clients.

"We have been progressing the 2B strategy internally over the last 12 months and are making great progress against our objective of managing over US$2bn of AUM by 2025 in both the fund and insurance segments of the business,” said executive chairman Gobind Sahney.

“We are very pleased with the foundational work we have brought to Providence Life Insurance Company Ltd (PLAC) since the acquisition and it is now well positioned to build its AUM organically, whilst also supporting our buy strategy.

“Interest in the BlackOak Alpha Growth Fund is at an all-time high, driven by recent world events and investors looking for an asset class which is not impacted by the volatility of stock markets."

Sahney noted that foundational work has been done to progress PLAC following its acquisition and it is now well-positioned to build assets under management organically, meanwhile, he highlighted that the BlackOak Alpha Growth Fund is at an all-time high.

BlackOak Alpha has been “driven by recent world events and investors looking for an asset class which is not impacted by the volatility of stock markets," the Alpha Growth chair noted.

He added: "2022 will be yet another transformative year for Alpha Growth and we expect our fund and insurance business to grow substantially. I look forward to keeping our shareholders up-to-date on progress and will provide a further update before the end of the first quarter."

The company told investors that its buy strategy is supported by an established acquisition methodology with a strong pipeline of targets, which would substantially increase AUM.

It also highlighted that it does not anticipate an equity raise to complete any of the current targeted acquisitions and believes that future acquisitions can be supported, where required, by the exercise of the outstanding warrants.

As well as promoting to institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals the company also intends to offer its strategies to a wider audience of investors by launching a product with reduced financial entry commitments, and it expects this to be another key driver of fund growth in the future.
