Algernon Pharmaceuticals CEO Christopher Moreau joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has has awarded a contract to Zhejiang Ausun Pharmaceutical of China to begin the manufacturing of a cGMP supply of its repurposed drug Repirinast.
Moreau telling Proactive Repirinast, in pre-clinical data, showed promise for a new potential therapy for kidney fibrosis. The company has also initiated a new chronic kidney disease research program.
