The ArcView Investor Network, a diverse group of investors seeking to put their money in the future of the legal cannabis industry, is hosting a meeting in Denver for the best opportunities in the sector.

The ArcView Angel Investor Network currently consists of over 75 accredited investors, many of whom have already made investments in this sector, who gather at least once per quarter to evaluate these opportunities.

The Denver meeting, which will take place on September 24, plays host to some 15 companies seeking investment, with four of those companies, including Abattis Bioceuticals (CNSX:FLU), awarded a premium feature slot. The company has multiple business lines built around tiered growing systems, extraction technology and assets that apply to vegetables and other plants that yield medicinal extracts, including marijuana.

Abattis is looking to take advantage of the shifting regulatory framework surrounding medical marijuana in Canada and the U.S., namely the potential for moves to widely decriminalize the drug, as it works as a supplier of technology and equipment, and potentially even as a licensed grower in Canada.

The ArcView Investor Network, which boasts a diverse group of investors including reps from various funds, investment pros, high net-worth individuals, dispensary operators and entrepreneurs, is calling on companies looking to put $50,000 or more to use in what it calls "the next great American industry".

With the Denver slots now full, the network is seeking companies to present at the next event in Seattle on November 5th. The deadline for application to be considered for Seattle is September 27th.

Investors in the ArcView Network, which operates on membership fees rather than finder's fees, invest in any company they wish and often collaborate for shared due diligence and investments. Once chosen by the selection committee, the Network works with entrepreneurs  to help them put their "best foot forward", according to a release promoting the Denver event.

The Denver meeting will also include a dinner reception hosted by Open Vape as well as Cannasure & My 420 Tours that will be taking investors on a 'behind the scenes' tour of the top licensed retailers, cultivators, and infused products manufacturers the day before and after the meeting.
