Seeing Machines to install its pilot fatigue monitoring system in aircraft used by Air Ambulance Victoria.

The system detects pilot fatigue in real-time and also activates an alerting system to reduce other risks associated with single-pilot operations.
Air Ambulance Victoria provides medevac flights and medical transfers across the Australian state.
This contract will see the system installed in a minimum of four new aircraft, is for an initial 10-year period and has a value of around A$1mln.
It will be the world's first operational pilot fatigue monitoring system with the potential to extend beyond the initial four aircraft in Victoria, said Seeing Machines.
The first installation will be operational by the end of calendar year 2022, with the remaining three aircraft scheduled for 2023.
