Graphex Technologies (OTCQX:GRFXY, HKG:6128) CEO John DeMaio tells Proactive that the Hong Kong-based group, a subsidiary of Graphex Group Limited, is aiming to establish a US-based graphite processing facility, while scaling up graphite production in China.
DeMaio says the group will look to form a joint venture with Michigan-based Emerald Energy Solutions to construct and operating a graphite processing facility with the potential to be operational by Q2 2023. At the same time, it plans to scale up graphite production at its existing facility in China to 40,000 tons per annum of spherical graphite.
