BiVictriX Therapeutics PLC (AIM:BVX, OTC:BVTXF) has added two potential cancer therapies to its pipeline - BVX002 and BVX003.
They join BVX001, a putative treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia.
Chief executive Tiffany Thorn said the decision to move forward with the new early-stage assets was a “significant milestone”.
“We are focused on working to fast-track the development of these two new programmes alongside our lead asset, BVX001, to reach early preclinical proof of concept in the short to medium term," she added.
BiVictriX drug candidates are what are highly targeted cancer therapeutics that use the company's Bi-Cygni approach.
By spotting specific patterns on the surface of a cell, rather than a single cancer identifier, Bi-Cygni treatments are expected to pinpoint cancer with superior specificity while eradicating collateral damage.
BVX002 and BVX003 target novel cancer-specific twin antigen fingerprints.
