Moho Resources Ltd (ASX:MOH) has completed a round of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at Omrah electromagnetic (EM) target and Wise nickel prospect at Silver Swan North Nickel Sulphide Project north of Kalgoorlie in WA.
This work was following-up geological interpretations formed by the Geological Survey of Western Australia and a review of all available data by the Moho exploration team.
The reverse circulation (RC) program consisted of 14 holes for 3,060 metres and ran from November 28, 2021, until January 22, 2021, hampered by rig failures and repair waiting times.
Samples from the drilling program are being submitted to Bureau Veritas laboratory for analysis, with about 80% of analysed results received back from the lab to date.
Next steps for Silver Swan
Moho has contracted the services of experienced nickel consultant Grant Alan ‘Rocky’ Osborne, a passionate and pragmatic explorationist with more than 42 years’ experience in international mineral exploration and underground mining, with particular expertise in nickel and gold.
The results of the RC program will be reviewed by Osborne to generate targets for further exploration with a diamond drilling program.
Moho has already secured a diamond drilling rig for March, but any drilling programs will have to await approval by Moho’s nickel consultant and start dates may be delayed by rig and crew availability.
Additionally, Moho has been awarded a grant of $150,000 under the Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) program by the West Australian Government.
The CEI grant will be used to fund up to 50% of drilling costs associated with the RC and diamond drilling program to test the potential komatiitic ultramafics associated with the Omrah nickel prospect.
