Stuhini Exploration reveals high-grade silver mineralization at two promising targets on the Ruby Creek molybdenum project

Assays returned results of up to 16,030 grams per tonne (g/t) silver at the Silver Surprise target and up to 13,250 g/t silver and 5.02 g/t gold at Daybreak

Stuhini Exploration Ltd (TSX-V:STU) has announced a new discovery of high-grade silver mineralization at the Silver Surprise target on its Ruby Creek molybdenum project.

The company found three mineralized structures within 200 metres (m) of the silver-bearing quartz vein identified in a 2020 sample which assayed up to 14,179 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 1.49 g/t gold, according to a release.

Fifty-seven of the rock samples were collected, and assays returned results of up to 16,030 g/t silver. Another 17 samples graded over 1,000 g/t silver and 10 of those graded over 5,000 g/t silver.

The good news extended to another target on Ruby Creek, Daybreak, where assay results from 31 rock samples returned up to 13,250 g/t silver and 5.02 g/t gold.

"The discovery of additional high grade silver mineralization further exhibits the silver prospectivity of the Ruby Creek Tenures, particularly in the Silver Surprise area,” Stuhini CEO Dave O’Brien said in a statement.

Ruby Creek is a nearly 29,000-hectare property that is road accessible just east of Atlin, British Columbia. There are 48 different documented mineral occurrences on the property, of which 16 are gold-related, with 7 significant gold placer creeks. The property also hosts the historic Ruby Creek molybdenum resource, which has an intact BC Mines Act permit.

Stuhini told shareholders that it is expecting to release a new resource update on the Ruby Creek project in the first quarter of 2022.
