Emmerson names Jim Wynn as new CFO

He joins the company having help senior positions at resource companies

Emmerson PLC (AIM:EML) has named Jim Wynn as chief financial officer with immediate effect.

Wynn recently held the CFO position at Moxico Resources, and before that Rainbow Rare Earths.

He was also the finance director at Avocet Mining (AIM:AVM), where he set up a partnership with Morocaan mining group Managem over the Tri-K project in Guinea, the company noted.

Wynn serves on the board of exploration company GreenRoc Mining.

Prior to this, he was employed by Anglo American PLC (LSE:AAL), where he worked within the finance, business development, and strategy departments of Anglo Industrial Minerals.

“We are delighted to welcome Jim to the Emmerson team, working alongside our colleagues in Morocco and in the UK to promote our growing business in Morocco and internationally,” said chief executive Graham Clarke.

“A key part of the project development will be putting in place debt financing, in which Jim will play a pivotal role, and which we expect to conclude in Q2/Q3 2022,” Clarke added.

The statement said that Wynn would not be joining the board at this moment, nor does he hold any shares in the company.
