Ted Baker PLC (LSE:TED) will be releasing its fourth quarter results on Wednesday 23 February, with investors hoping the company can build on a decent performance in the previous quarter.
The British clothing retail company was beginning to deliver progress on it key metrics, according to house broker Liberum.
Its third-quarter performance was boosted by the UK and US market as new ranges began to build momentum, although it was lagging on e-commerce sales.
With lockdowns easing worldwide and footfall increasing, by 142% last quarter, it remains to be seen whether the company can improve its online performance.
“The business is in much better shape now than any time in the past,” said Liberum in a note this month, highlighting the new creative team and capital-light business model.
The appointment of Jason Beckley as chief customer, marketing and digital officer, last month may be a real coupe, given his experience working with competitors such as Ralph Lauren and Alexander McQueen.
Shares in Ted Baker were down 1.82% in midday trading, changing hands at 86p.
