FIVE at FIVE: Reckitt reckons it can beat inflation, 3D-printed rocket take-off, Ocado funding 'likely' and Open Orphan trial success

1. Reckitt Bensicker exceeds market expectations in full-year results

Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC (LSE:RKT, ETR:3RB) said its transformation is on track as it reported revenues ahead of forecasts for 2021 and predicted growth for the current year, "despite significant commodity inflationary pressures".

The consumer goods group reported net revenue of £13.2bn for the year to end-December 2021, a fall of 5.4% on the previous year, but on a like-for-like basis, the number was 3.5% higher, beating expectations.

2. World’s first entirely 3D-printed rocket to launch into space in March

Relativity Space has completed the world’s first ever entirely 3D-printed rocket using the world’s largest metal 3D printer.

Relativity goal is to build humanity’s multiplanetary future with its wholly 3D-printed rockets, Terran 1, and Terran R, (the latter is a larger and will be a fully reusable launch vehicle, the company says).

3. Ocado will have to raise funds for new joint venture - Shore Capital

Ocado Group PLC (LSE:OCDO) (Ocado Group PLC (LSE:OCDO)) is likely to go cap-in-hand to investors for more funds, as the cash-hungry company continues to plough capital into its technology partnerships.

4. Open Orphan sales should jump to 60% for last financial year – research

As an indication of the firm's growth and leading position, two new contracts, one for about £10mln and one for £5mln, were announced in December 2021 after £21mln of new business already signed in H221.
