BATM Advanced Communications Ltd (LSE:BVC, OTC:BTAVF) said it expects to report full-year 2021 revenue and underlying earnings (EBITDA) ahead of market expectations, thanks to growth from both its divisions.
The provider of real-time technologies for networking and medical lab systems said the increased revenue last year was driven by significant growth in the diagnostics unit of the Bio-Medical division.
Looking ahead, BATM said it entered the new year with a “substantially higher” backlog of work from ongoing operations than at the same point of the prior year and “the strong momentum of 2021 has continued”.
The business therefore remains on track to deliver “significant growth for full year 2022 in line with market expectations”, BATM said.
In a separate announcement, the Israel-headquartered company confirmed while its shares will continue to be listed on the premium segment of London’s main market, the FTSE Russell index reclassification will go ahead and they will no longer be eligible for inclusion in UK indices from 21 March.
Investors will continue to be able to trade BATM's shares as previously, it assured.
