Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR, OTCQB:RFHRF) has outlined exploration plans for its 300 square kilometre (sq km) Surimeau District battery metals project in Quebec, which includes a new hunt for lithium at the vast property.
Meanwhile, a 912 line kilometer (km) airborne mag and electro-magnetic (EM) survey will begin this week, the company said, covering the around 6km strike of the Victoria West target and covering the Colonie showing and the unexplored 14km area between two mineralized areas joined by a 20km long magnetic anomaly.
It will also include the LaLonde area, where polymetallic mineralization has been drilled historically over a strike length of around 2km, said Renforth.
The compiled data will make up part of the target selection for the next round of drilling, likely to start in March, it added.

On the lithium front, Renforth noted that, to date, it had not focused on lithium at Surimeau, but instead the polymetallic 'Battery Metals' package of nickel, cobalt, copper, zinc, platinum and palladium which is present in six known areas, specifically at Victoria West.
"Renforth is now broadening its exploration efforts on this vast property to include lithium," it said.
The company will reassess samples that previously returned above background lithium values as part of standard testing of samples. Several, including from the north of the property and the Victoria West area, will be assayed with a lithium specific assay package, it reported.
The company also said it is planning a prospecting campaign at Surimeau expected to take place in the spring.
Renforth also holds the Parbec open-pit constrained gold deposit in Malartic, Quebec, and here, the firm has hired a structural geology group to carry out the "first ever" structural study of this property, which straddles 1.8km of the Cadillac - Larder Lake fault zone, it revealed.
