Open Orphan PLC (AIM:ORPH, OTC:OPORF) has highlighted positive results of a human challenge study assessing Enanta Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ENTA)’ respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) antiviral candidate, EDP-938, which is being advanced by Enanta Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ENTA) Inc.
AIM-quoted Open Orphan, which is a contract research organisation (CRO) specialising in the testing of infectious and respiratory disease products, helped facilitate the challenge trial which enrolled 178 healthy adult volunteers in an age range between 18 and 55.
Ariana Resources PLC (AIM:AAU) said gold was confirmed to be a significant component of the Klirou deposit within the Magellan project in Cyprus.
Ariana has a 50% stake in the project's owner Venus Minerals Ltd.
Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) said a Newcrest Mining Ltd announcement today regarding resources and reserves for the Havieron gold-copper joint project used 5 February 2021 as a cut-off date for drilling information and that these figures had previously been released.
The Newcrest statement, released on ASX, restated figures contained within the Stage 1 South East Crescent pre-feasibility study (PFS) announced last October.
Zephyr Energy PLC completed the US$36 million acquisition of non-operated working interests in currently producing and near-term production wells in the Williston Basin, North Dakota.
The Rocky Mountain oil and gas company said the acquisition consists of working interests in 163 currently producing wells with an average working interest of about 4%. In addition, a further 18 drilled but uncompleted wells are scheduled to come online by the end of June 2022, with 47 other locations to be drilled in the future.

Powerhouse Energy Group Plc noted a statement made by its development partner Hydrogen Utopia International Plc which said “following recent discussions between HUI and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) it has been mutually acknowledged that no agreement exists on exploring any potential commercial opportunities for developing waste plastic to hydrogen facilities in Japan.”
It comes after Hydrogen Utopia announced in a stock market statement on January 18 that it had signed a letter of intent with MHI.
Hydrogen Utopia, in the latest statement, said it continues to explore opportunities in Japan and is hopeful that it may work with MHI in the future.
