About Triangle Energy

Triangle Energy (Global) Ltd is an oil producer and explorer that has a majority interest in and is the operator of the producing Cliff Head Oil Field offshore Perth Basin and which includes the Arrowsmith Stabilisation Plant.

The company also has a 50% share of the Mt Horner L7 production licence and a 45% equity interest in the Xanadu-1 joint venture, both in the Perth Basin.

Additionally, Triangle has a substantial equity interest in State Gas Ltd (ASX:GAS), which has a 100% operating interest in the Reids Dome production licence (PL 231) in Queensland.

The company has recently made efforts to establish a joint venture agreement focused on eventually transitioning licence WA-481-P into a modular renewable fuel refinery by leveraging the company’s existing infrastructure in the Perth Basin.

Those efforts have been hampered by regulatory issues and uncertainty around future permitting regulations, but Triangle has not yet ruled out the possibility of pursuing the endeavour.
